Description

  • Graduates from relevant university departments (Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics etc.),
  • Experienced in following technologies: Oracle WebLogic, Apache Kafka and Apache Cassandra, Docker and Kubernetes (App Containerization)
  • Linux and Unix operating systems knowledge
  • At least 2 years of experience in virtualization (preferably VMWare)
  • At least 2 years of experience in MySQL and Oracle database management
  • Experienced in application server management, monitoring server performance, improving it, managing clusters and backups
  • Experienced in Oracle Data Guard installation
  • Basic knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and shell scripting
  • Proficient in English
  • Able to adapt to flexible working hours and shift work schedule
  • Possessing analytical thinking skills, open to development and learning, high job tracking skills, and results and solution-oriented

Job Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the proper operation, security, and optimization of systems. This includes responsibilities such as conducting virtualization activities, monitoring and improving server performance, managing clusters and backups, and fulfilling necessary system installation and security responsibilities.

  • Supporting database design and development activities
  • Monitoring the performance of database systems and performing regular performance improvements
  • Preparing documentation related to database standards
  • Participating in the research processes for the implementation and patching of necessary security solutions for databases
  • Assisting in database designs for new product developments
  • Conducting virtualization activities
  • Fulfilling necessary responsibilities regarding Linux server security & system installation
  • Conducting research on necessary topics for system operation improvements
